Hasan A. Abbas is an associate professor of Management Information Systems at Kuwait University.  He received his B.S. in Economics from Kuwait University, and received M.S. and Ph.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology. He published in leading conferences and journals such as International Journal of Mobile Human Computer Interaction (IJMHCI), Computers in Human Behavior, and Technology in Society, Global, Knowledge, Memory and Communications. His research interests include information ethics, information privacy, social media, addiction and pathological use, artificial intelligence, expert systems, mobile banking, and eGov.
