Dr. Zahraa Marafie, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science at Kuwait University, holding both a master's and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. With expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), with focus on Real-Time Systems and Service-Oriented Computing. During her doctoral research, Zahraa designed and implemented the "AutoCoach" system, an innovative solution that leverages AI and IoT technologies to analyze and personalize driver behavior feedback, enhancing road safety through tailored alerts and analytics. Currently, her research explores practical AI and IoT applications, including HeatWatch, a real-time heat exhaustion detection system; CarPark, a smart parking assistant application; and Business Data Analysis to optimize real estate operations. Beyond her academic and research pursuits, Dr. Zahraa proudly supervises the ClickIT Club at the ISC Department, fostering innovation and collaboration among students in information systems and computing.
