A Delegation from Hadhramout University Visits the Academic Affairs Sector at Kuwait University to Explore Avenues for Scientific and Cultural Cooperation

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen Kuwait University's position within the international academic community through communication and the exchange of expertise with Arab and international universities,
Prof. Mohammed Ali Al-Mulla, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs and Acting Vice President for Academic Support Services at Kuwait University, welcomed a delegation from Hadhramout University — Republic of Yemen — comprising Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash, President of Hadhramout University, Prof. Abdullah Alawi Aided, Secretary-General, and Mr. Hussein Abdullah Basaleeb, Office Director of the University President.
The visit took place at Sabah Al-Salem University City on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.


At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Mohammed Ali Al-Mulla welcomed the delegation, affirming Kuwait University's keenness to expand the horizons of scientific and cultural cooperation across various academic and research fields, and to stay informed of the latest developments in these areas at both the Arab and international levels.
For his part, Prof. Mohammed Saeed Khanbash expressed his deep pleasure at the prospect of academic and cultural collaboration with Kuwait University, emphasizing the importance of enhancing scientific exchanges between the two institutions to advance academic and research excellence.


The visit provided an opportunity for an exchange of views regarding ways to foster intellectual, cultural, and scientific cooperation through encouraging students and researchers, supporting research infrastructure, and building research capacities for faculty members.
The discussions also explored the possibility of coordinating and collaborating on research initiatives of mutual interest between the two institutions.
