The Team Working on a Proposal to Accredit Kuwait University as a Healthy University City Conducts a Field Tour in Sabah Al-Salem University City

With directions from the President of Kuwait University, Prof. Yousef Muhammad Al-Roumi, regarding the formation of a committee to study the proposal to accredit Kuwait University as a health city, the formed committee conducted a field tour in Sabah Al-Salem University City. The team is headed by the Acting Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Prof. Maha Al-Sijari. The team was accompanied by the Head of the Healthy Cities Office at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Amal Al-Yahya and the accompanying delegation. The team started the procedures for accrediting Kuwait University as a healthy university city, in accordance with the standards and procedures set by the Healthy Cities Office at the Ministry of Health.
The Acting Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Prof. Maha Al-Sijari said that the visit aims to see the progress of the procedures followed for accrediting and obtaining the title of a healthy city.
Dr. Amal Al Yahya, Head of the Healthy Cities Office expressed her pride of Kuwait University, which is not just a university but also an environmental, architectural and societal institution. She added that the team aims to help accredit Kuwait University as a healthy city.
