Under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences, Professor Suad Mohamed Al-Fadhli, the Department of Occupational Therapy celebrated World Occupational Therapy over two days at the Health Science Center in Jabriya and in the Avenues Mall. The event was attended by faculty members in the college and students of the Department. The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of occupational therapy in Kuwait, which helps the behavioral adjustment of people with disabilities.
Professor Al-Fadhili said that events like this help develop the concept of the occupational therapist, as it is one of the required health disciplines that helps prepare the disabled to coexist with his disability of all kinds, whether in the home environment, work or the external environment, and implement daily work tasks and improve motor, intellectual and psychological functions.
