The Assistant Vice President for Research Analysis and Development Dr. Nouriya Al-Kandari welcomed new Kuwaiti faculty members and wished them success in their academic journey.
Dr. Al-Kandari explained that the Research Initiation Grant (RIG) is one of the various research grants offered by the Research Sector. RIG is considered a starting point for projects and research that could enhance Kuwait University’s status.
Dr. Al-Kandari said that RIG is granted to new Kuwaiti faculty members who have been working in the University for less than 2 years. She encouraged faculty members to contact Research Sector employees to get answers for their inquiries and to visit the Research Sector website:
