Three Faculty Members from Kuwait University Won Jaber Al-Ahmed Award for Young Researchers 2021 Presented by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences

Three faculty members from Kuwait University won ‘Jaber Al-Ahmed Prize for Young Researchers’ for the year 2021. The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) presents this award, which is 10,000 KD for each winner, to Kuwaiti researchers who hold a doctorate degree.
The director general of KFAS Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel said that three faculty members from Kuwait University won the award. Professor Abdullah Al-Azmi from the department of Mathematics won in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics field. Professor Ahmed Al-Lafi from the department of Food Science and Nutrition won in the biological sciences category. The social sciences category award was won by Professor Mashari Al-Mousa from the department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts. Dr. Al-Fadhel congratulated the winners and wished them more academic success in their fields.
It is worth noting that the Jaber Al-Ahmed award for young researchers was established in 1988 by order from the late Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah (May he rest in peace) to honor, support, and encourage young Kuwaiti researchers in different fields.
