Under the patronage and presence of the President of Kuwait University Professor Yousef Al-Roumi, the Newcomers Association of the National Union of Kuwait University Students held the annual academic opportunities exhibition for high school graduates. The exhibition was attended by the Acting Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Salman Nashmi Al-Enzi. The exhibition is taking place in Shaheed Park from July 2nd to July 4th (4 PM- 9 PM).
The President of Kuwait University Professor Yousef Al-Roumi expressed his happiness to attend the exhibition, which is an opportunity for high school graduates to look into the different majors offered at Kuwait University. He added that Kuwait University has 16 colleges, nearly 40000 students, and 1695 faculty members. He wished the students success in choosing their academic majors.
The Acting Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Salman Nashmi Al-Enzi said that the goal of this exhibition is to introduce high school graduates to the majors of Kuwait University, which can help them make the best decision for themselves. He encouraged the graduates to familiarize themselves with the bylaws and regulations of Kuwait University, which can be found online on Kuwait University’s website and on the social media accounts of the Deanship of Students Affairs.
The President of the National Union of Kuwait University Students Ali Harbi Al-Harbi, stated that the annual academic opportunities exhibition provides information to high school graduates regarding registration at Kuwait University. He also said that the union is prepared to assist all students starting from the registration period until graduation.
