The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) chose Dr. Dalal Al-Taweel, the Vice Dean of Academic and Students Affairs in the College of Pharmacy, among 20 rising stars in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and education.
FIP’s initiative for Women in Science and Education — has launched the FIPWiSE Rising Stars program to highlight women in pharmaceutical sciences or pharmacy education who are pathfinders in their fields, who are rising in their careers and who deserve to be recognized.
The list included 20 researchers and educators in the field of Pharmacy from all around the world. Dr. Dalal Al-Taweel is the only representative of an Arab country (Kuwait) on the list. It is worth noting that FIP represents over 4 million pharmacists and pharmaceutical researchers globally.
