In part of its efforts to improve education and medical curricula, Kuwait University visited the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. The delegation constituted of the Acting Dean of the College of Dentistry Dr. Rashed Al-Azmi, board of directors member of The National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance Dr. Adel Al-Asfour, and Secretary General of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations Dr. Fawaz Al-Refai. The cultural attaché at the Embassy of Kuwait in Saudi, Ahmed Al-Khanfar, was also in attendance.
The delegation discussed common topics in the medical education field for the postgraduate period. They visited Riyadh Elm University and its teaching hospital. The delegation also met Kuwaiti scholarship holders who are currently studying in the university.
