The President of Kuwait University Professor Yousef Al-Roumi discussed increasing the university’s budget with the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf. The discussions took place during the minister’s visit to the university on Monday, and included talks about the university’s budget, the summer semester and the importance of increasing the budget for scientific research.
Professor Al-Roumi said that the university is in constant contact with the Ministry of Finance regarding summer semester and research budgets. He added that these matters would reflect positively on the global ranking of the university.
Dr. Al-Mudhaf emphasized his support for Kuwait University and would coordinate with the Ministry of Finance in this regard.
