Dr. Ahmad M. Al-Ali, a Scholarship holder from the Department of Surgical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University has recently obtained his US patent for his invention entitled “Surgical wire twisting tool” with the support of Sabah Al Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity.
It is a handheld surgical device that helps the surgeon to have better control in a standardized way when handling surgical wires. It can be used in maxillofacial trauma cases, orthognathic surgeries, as well as in orthodontics.
