Mr. Bader Al-Mudairis, the former editor-in-chief of Afaq newspaper, gave 6 records of Afaq newspaper, that was issued in the form of a magazine, to Jaber Al-Ahmad Library, the Gulf Studies Center and the Arabian Peninsula, and to Afaq newspaper. The magazine held previous issues during the period 1983-1985 and each of the three centers received two copies of the “Afaq magazine”.
Al-Mudairis said: "During my supervision of Afaq as the editor-in-chief, we issued Afaq magazine from the years 1983-1985, with about 43 issues in two volumes."
Al-Mudairis gifted the covers of Afaq on the occasion of 43th years of its release. This new gift comes in addition to the archives of the Jaber Al-Ahmad Library, the Gulf Studies Center and the Arabian Peninsula, and the Afaq newspaper.
On the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the opening of Kuwait University, Al-Mudairis emphasized that Afaq was and still is a reliable source of information and a rich record of important university activities and events.
“Afaq” family carries all the appreciation, gratitude, and thanks to the former editor-in-chief, Mr. Bader Abdullah Al-Mudairis, for his interest and follow-up to the newspaper’s publications and his literary and media interest.
