With the direction of Acting President of Kuwait University, and in accordance with Law no. 76 of 2019, the Administration of Academic Staff Affairs, in cooperation with the Center of Information Systems, amended the job titles of faculty members in accordance with the new law. The changes that have been amended were from teacher to assistant professor, and from assistant professor to associate professor, with the same elements of salary. These amendments have been officially incorporated into the human resources system (Oracle) after a major audit and review process by the Administration of Academic Staff Affairs represented by the Financial Audit and Review Section and follow up on the consequences of the amendments in the salary screen and other data.
On the other hand, the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ali Abdullah and Acting Vice President for Academic Support Services, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mutawa, thanked the Administration of Academic Staff Affairs and the Center of Information Systems for the great cooperation in amending the job titles of the faculty members and the completion of the project.
