General Secretariat Calls on all Non- Kuwaiti Members of Kuwait University Whose Residency has Expired

The General Secretariat of Kuwait University extend their best wishes to you, referring to the decree of His Excellency the vice Prime Minister and Minister of Interior by granting residents whose residency has expired a temporary residency that is valid for a period of three months, starting from 1/3/2020 until 05/31/2020.

Therefore, the General Secretariat calls on all non- Kuwaiti members of Kuwait University: faculty members, academic support staff, administrative staff, andstudents, whose residency has expired, to enter the Ministry of Interior website (www.moi.gov.kw) and confirm the extension of the temporary residency and take the necessary measures in this regard.

Work centers should follow up on their employees with expired residency who are still outside the country and notify competent authorities affiliated with them, whether the Human Resources Department, or Academic Staff Affairs, or the Deanship of Student Affairs (Student Housing and Expatriate Affairs Department).

Therefore, all university employees must send the following documents (a copy of the passport- a copy of the residency- a copy of the civil ID- a copy of the temporary residency screen) to the following emails:

Deanship of Student Affairs (Student Housing and Expatriate Affairs Department): sa.housing@ku.edu.kw
