The spokesman of Kuwait University, Secretary General Dr. Muthanna Taleb Al-Refaei announced the postponement of the deductions from the salaries of university employees, faculty members and scholarships, for six months, starting from the salary of April 2020.
He also added that the Social Security Fund decided to postpone loan installments of all kinds for six months, starting from the salary of April 2020.
Dr. Al- Refaei noted that this decision comes complying with HH the Amir's desire Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, may Allah protect him, by easing the financial burdens on citizens during this exceptional circumstances that Kuwait is going through due to the emerging Coronavirus crisis (COVID19).
