American Libraries Magazine chose a PhD thesis prepared by Dr. Reham Issa Al-Shaheen a faculty member at the Department of Information Studies in the College of Social Sciences at Kuwait University to be among nine PhD thesis of the most prominent for the year 2019, and the only Academic Arab on that list.
American Libraries Magazine is the largest and most important association of the libraries worldwide.
Dr. Reham thesis addressed the user experience on websites of the national libraries. The study sample included libraries from all continents and geographical areas specified in the UN classification, which were distinguished by their subject and scope, in addition to the recommendations they made.
Al-Shaheen expressed her pleasure in choosing her thesis Saying. "I thank God for his reconciliation. I commend this achievement to the dear homeland and Kuwait University, which I am proud to belong to".
It is reported that Dr. Reham Al-Shaheen has recently graduated from the University of Siemens in Boston, USA to join as a faculty member in the Department of Information Studies in the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kuwait University.
