Under the patronage and attendance of the Dean of Student Affairs at Kuwait University Dr. Ali S. AlNami the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activities at the Deanship organized a ceremony honoring the winning students in Poetry, Press Articles, and Short Story. It was held in the hall of Kuwait Airways at the College of Social Sciences on Monday, April 15th, 2019, in the presence of Assistant Dean for Student Activities Dr. Thegal AlAjmi and Assistant Dean for Student Services Dr. Salman AlEnezi, the Director of Cultural and Artistic Activities Gamal Bouarki and Activities Supervisor Fahad AlMutairi, Head of the Cultural Section Khuloud AlYaqoub and the staff of the Department, and under the patronage of the Youth Public Authority, which in turn supported student youth activities organized by the Department of Cultural and Artistic Activities during the semester.
In this context, the names of the winners of the short story contest were announced: first place was student Mahrah Sudan AlShammari, second place was the student Hassan Mohammed AlMaqseed and the third was student Yousef Ali AlShammari. Moreover, they announced the owners of the outstanding articles: first place student Sawsan Ibrahim Mohammed, second place student Ahoud Fedi AlAzmi, and in third place student Abdullah Thabah Marfou AlShammari.
The names of the winners of the poetry competition were also announced: in the first place student Abdulaziz, the second student was Omar Nasser AlKhalidi and the third was student Shahad Saket AlEnezi.
