Under the patronage and attendance of Kuwait University President Prof. Hussain AlAnsari, the Secretary General of Kuwait University Dr. Muthanna Al-Rifae, the Vice Presidents, faculty members and employees of Kuwait University, the Public Relations and Media Department at the University organized the National Day and Liberation Day Festival in the arena opposite the Abdullah Al Jaber Theater at the Shuwaikh campus.

On this occasion, the President of Kuwait University expressed his happiness with this celebration organized by the Department of Public Relations and Media in cooperation with the faculties, departments and work centers at the university and external participations from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs. He pointed out that the purpose of this event is to invest these events in order to activate ties of intimacy, love, fraternity, social harmony and filling the national spirit, and positive values to achieve the public good, calling on the attendees to take advantage of lessons in unity, hard work, sacrifice and competition for the service of Kuwait and maintain it to give back to this country.

He added that Kuwait University's celebration of national events every year is an affirmation of national belonging and activating the bonds of affinity, love and brotherhood. Because of its sincere expression of the national sense that fills the hearts of the Kuwaiti people, pointing out that this celebration made us recall with pride the martyrs of Kuwait who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
In the end, the President thanked all who participated and contributed to organizing this celebration from colleges, departments and work centers at the university, wishing everyone success.
