KASA organized its annual exhibition of architecture and design with the students of the Department of Architecture at Kuwait University for the 14th year in a row in the external arena of Al-Raya Center on Thursday, 7 February for two days. The students of the College of Architecture reviewed a series of projects, figures, drawings and images that reflect the architectural creativity. The exhibition received excellent attention and attendance by specialists in the field and various groups of society.
In this regard, the General Supervisor of the Kuwaiti Students' Association "KASA" Dr. Anas AlOmaim said that the Association considered that the students of the Department of Architecture deserve to present their projects through an annual exhibition at the level of the State of Kuwait for the importance of this in stimulating the creativity of students. Noting that the main goal of such exhibitions is to identify all groups of society with the nature of architecture and its studies by supporting the energies made by students.
Dr. AlOmaim stressed that the exhibition is the largest platform for young architects in Kuwait and has included the projects of the students of the first through the fifth year at the College and included the stages of the implementation of the project from the conception or vision through the image and then the process of design and the beginning of manual work and graphics. This year's exhibition included about 15 different projects that focused on the social importance of architecture, where students contributed to the translation of their ideas and transformed them into forms, designs, arts and creative models combining science and innovation.
He pointed out that (KASA) is a student association seeks to support and encourage the students of architecture professionally, academically, socially and culturally. The association aims to build bridges of communication with the architectural community in Kuwait and the world through seminars and field visits to various projects and organizing exhibitions and others to contribute to the recruitment and development of youth, explaining that the members of the Assembly and supervisors are renewed annually.
Finally, Dr. AlOmaim thanked the sponsors of the exhibition and all participants.
