Admission of (39) students from non-Kuwaiti students applying to Kuwait University for the second semester 2019/2018

The Director of Admission Department at Kuwait University Hind M. AlSalem announced that 39 non-Kuwaiti students have been admitted to the faculties of the university from high school graduates of different nationalities who are allowed to join the university within their specific categories.
This number includes the children and spouses of faculty members at the university, sons and husbands of (the academic support staff, language teachers, children of university employees), the children and spouses of diplomats, the president of the university granted students who reside illegally and are not children of Kuwaitis mothers, Martyrs children, outstanding students’ grants, and citizens of the GCC.
Note that candidates’ students of cultural grants who did not perform the academic aptitude test has not been accepted yet until they take the test by the beginning of the second semester 2018/2019.
Ms. AlSalem pointed out that the acceptance of non-Kuwaiti students has been arranged according to the order of their wishes in light of the numbers specified in each college in accordance with the decision of the University Council, taking into account the minimum admission of Kuwaiti students in different colleges, and the admission policy which requires that the GPA of any non-Kuwaiti student in high school certificate or the equivalent GPA in any of the university's majors must not be less than the lowest percentage of Kuwaiti students accepted in the same major.
In order to ensure that the grounds for acceptance of students are clear to all, it is decided to publish the minimum admission limits in all disciplines for the second semester 2018/2019. Note that the digital code mentioned by the name of each student is the accepted major code and find the major by going back to the minimum admission table where the digital code mentions the name of the major.
She added that SMS messages will be sent via mobile phones to all accepted students, specifying the college where the student was admitted and the date of registration. All students should visit the Deanship of Admission and Registration in Shuwaikh on the dates set for them with the need to take into account the obligation to attend personally or their representatives on time and to take the required documents.
Ms. Hind AlSalem concluded by congratulating the students and their families on their admission to the university and wished them all the luck.
