A patent has been registered at the Office of the United States of America on behalf of a research team from the Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University under the number: US 9,904,961 B2 for the invention (Cyclo-Feed ) System and Method for Determining the Feedback Capacity of Information Distributed in Complex Networks.
The team included Prof. Maitham Hassan Safar, Professor of Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Khaled Abdul-saheb Mahdi Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development of Kuwait and Director of the Country Plan Action Program, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kuwait, And Specialist, designer and in charge for the website of the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum Eng. Ghafran Abdullah Al-Shareida.
The research team said that the importance of creating this program lies in allowing public relations professionals, marketers, scientists and IT engineers to understand how complex networks are used and how these networks can configure, organize, distribute and disseminate information through the study and analysis of these networks. Social complex over the past few years and the adoption of millions of Internet users who make these networks one of the most powerful methods in disseminating news and basic information to large numbers of users.
The members of the team presented the honorable achievement to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
