The Secretary General of Kuwait University Dr. Muthanna T. AlRifae said that the University is in the process of publishing an announcement about the vacant supervisory positions. In the first stage, applicants will submit their applications for vacant posts for the supervisory level (Directors). Followed by the vacant Supervisor. The rest of the vacancy announcements for the other supervisory positions (head of division) and (head of section) shall be completed in following stages according to the job levels.
Dr. AlRifae pointed out that after the adoption of the new organizational structure developed for Kuwait University on 5/7/2018 by the Civil Service Commission (CSC); the University President Prof. Hussein Al-Ansari issued a decision approving the organizational structure developed on 19/7/2018. Prof. AlAnsari also issued a decision on 11/12/2018 concerning the additional conditions and controls and the mechanism for applying for supervisory positions, which will contribute to achieving the principle of equal opportunities towards selecting the suitable candidate for the vacant supervisory post.
Dr. AlRifae praised the efforts made by the concerned work centers (Human Resources Department – Department of Administrative Training and Human Resources Development- Center of Information Systems) and the work team formed in this regard. Stressing that the work centers and work teams formed have completed job description cards in accordance with the organizational structure developed. All vacant and occupied posts at all job levels (vacant supervisory posts for advertising and supervisory job occupied to provide the CSC with their statements). In addition to the development of self-service system related to the announcement and the development of its ability to calculate the experience of applicants automatically, which greatly facilitates the conformity of conditions and the exclusion of those who do not meet the requirements, which simplifies the screening process.
