Kuwait University President congratulated the winners of the Scientific Production Prize for the year 2018

The President of Kuwait University, Prof. Hussein A. AlAnsari, congratulated the faculty members who won the Scientific Production Prize for 2018 presented by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, Dr. Tareq M. AlRifae- Physics Dept. College of Science, Dr. Khaled J. AlFadhala- Mechanical Engineering Dept. College of Engineering and Petroleum, Dr. Salman K. AlSabah- College of Medicine, Abdullah M. alHajeri- Head of History Dept. College of Arts. He expressed the university's pride in this scientific achievement attained by the elite of its professors who received the prize of scientific production for their research efforts.
Prof. AlAnsari also congratulated all the winners of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) awards.
Dr. Tariq M. AlRifae, Professor of Physics at the College of Science at Kuwait University, has won the prize for scientific production in the field of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. He published 17 research papers in peer- reviewed journals and participated in 12 international conferences.
The Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine and General Surgery Consultant at Amiri Hospital Dr. Salman K. AlSabah won the Scientific Production Prize in the field of Medical Sciences and Allied Medicine, which published 47 papers in peer- reviewed journals and participated in 90 international conferences.
The Head of the History Department at the College of Arts, Prof. Abdullah M. AlHajri, won the prize for scientific production in the field of social and human sciences. He published 17 scientific papers in peer- reviewed journals, 3 books and participated in 5 regional and international conferences.
