Under the patronage and attendance of the President of Kuwait University, Prof. Hussein Ahmed Al-Ansari, the University's Research Sector organized a ceremony honoring the winners of the scientific research awards for the academic year in the presence of the Secretary General of the University, the Deputy Directors and their assistants and assistant deans of scientific and humanitarian colleges.

On this occasion, the President of Kuwait University, Prof. Hussein Al Ansari, welcomed the attendees and expressed his pleasure to honor a group of distinguished researchers who received scientific research awards and patents. Expressing his pride for their contribution and research efforts that led to outstanding achievements and investment of scientific research to find appropriate scientific solutions and enrich knowledge.
He pointed out that the objective pursued by the university administration is to improve the academic and scientific level of Kuwait University. The classification of universities and their international reputation is measured by their contributions and research results, adding that these distinguished researches and patents are certainly an added value to the national economy.
Prof. Al-Ansari said that the university continues to use all means available to researchers, noting that the university has signed research cooperation agreements with other universities, which will lead to high quality in research and qualitative publishing. He called on postgraduate students to publish their researches which will contribute to raising the research level.
In conclusion, Prof. Al Ansari congratulated the winners of the awards for their remarkable success, looking forward to more achievements.
Prof. Jassim Al-Kandari, Vice President for Research, also praised the distinguished scholars, and expressed his pleasure to celebrate the research sector at Kuwait University as a constellation that has imposed itself on its distinguished thinking and giving it the merit it deserves to be valued and honored.

He stressed that scientific research is a fundamental pillar in the knowledge economy, and it is the right way to build and develop societies. Kuwait University is working to support scientific research which contributes effectively to the classification of our university , Wishing more progress and success to the university.
