Under the patronage and attendance of Kuwait University’s President Prof. Hussein A. AlAnsari, the Department of Public Relations and Media held a reception for the beginning of the new academic year 2018/2019 in the VIP Hall at Sabah Al Salem Theater - Khalidiyah Campus, in the presence of the Secretary General of the University Dr. Muthanna AlRifae, Vice Presidents, faculty Deans and members, department heads and staff at various colleges and centers.

On this occasion, the President welcomed the attendance at this ceremony to mark the start of the new academic year at Kuwait University, wishing that it would be a successful academic year on all levels. He also thanked the attendance of this annual meeting, which he considered a good opportunity to meet with the university family.

He also welcomed the new students and congratulated them on the occasion of their admission to Kuwait University and the start of the study, and the new faculty members, members of the academic support and new staff who have recently been appointed, expressing his pride in belonging to Kuwait University.
Additionally, He expressed his sincere thanks to the academic family members of the faculty members, the academic support members, the deanships and the various departments for their efforts and their keenness to provide all possible means of preparation for the new academic year.
He noted that the previous year witnessed many achievements at all levels, which are a confirmation of the role and place of Kuwait University in the society and that the main interest of the university is to improve the educational process that is in the interest of students.
In conclusion, he thanked the generous attendance and wished the university family a successful academic year.
