The University Signs an Agreement to Study, Design and Supervise the Medical Campus Project in Sabah Al Salem University

Under the patronage and attendance of Kuwait University President, Prof. Hussein Ahmed Al Ansari, Kuwait University signed an agreement to study, design and supervise the campus project in Sabah Al Salem University in cooperation with the Global Consultants Coalition, which includes: Global Senior Advisor Perkins Eastman and Global Advisor Anad Arctekts, - United States of America, Global Consultant Ted Jacob Engineering Group, and local consultant Dar Al-Jazeera Consultancy, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 10 am in the Hall of the University Council in Khalidiya Campus.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice-President for Planning, Dr. Adel Al-Hussainan, Secretary General of Kuwait University Dr. Muthanna Al-Rifai, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Adel Khader Ayed, and the director of the construction program Dr. Qutaiba Al-Razzouqi, Assistant Director of Construction Program Dr. Anwar Al-Ibrahim, Assistant Director of Structural Program for Planning and Follow-up Dr. Mohamed Sadiq, and representatives of the coalition of global advisers, including: Shaun Basler, Don Winrich, Ashok Raji, Ted Jacob, Eng. Ahmed Al-Jahim.

On this occasion, Prof. Hussein Ahmed Al-Ansari, welcomed Kuwait University community as representatives of the Coalition of Global Advisors at KU, which is one of the most important pillars of science, knowledge and community development. He pointed out that the project includes several packages, infrastructure package, sports buildings, service buildings and multi-storey parking buildings. The second package includes the medical colleges, the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Public Health. The third package is the hospital's educational package and includes a teaching hospital and research center and private clinics and accommodation.

In conclusion, Prof. Hussein Al-Ansari extended his thanks and appreciation to all the efforts that contributed to reaching the stage of signing the contract, wishing success to the implementing companies and the university team overseeing the project. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the media and the university technicians for their efforts.
