Dr. Akram Esbaita, Associate Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology- College of Allied Health Sciences at Kuwait University, participated in the Cardiovascular Conference held in Berlin, Germany, from 4 to 6 July 2018. He contributed in a paper that was accepted at the conference on the study of blood vessels in the brain of patients with Anemia in the Gulf Arab countries, and the research has won the first place in clinical research.

The research was published in the “Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine”, and was supervised by Professor Conley Adakelli from the College of Medicine - Pediatrics Department. The conference discussed the latest findings in the field of sonar blood vessels and heart.
Dr. Esbita thanked Kuwait University, represented by its Administration, the Research sector and the Deanship of the College for all their assistance and support during the research, thus giving this achievement to the State of Kuwait.
