Mr. Ali M. T. AlGanem, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Endowment of Education, hosted in his office at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday 20th, June, 2018 the delegation of Kuwait University, represented by the President of the University Prof. Hussein AlAnsari, the Secretary General of the University Dr. Muthanna AlRifae, Dr. Adel AlHussainan, and Eng. Bashayer AlSharaah of the Planning Sector at Kuwait University. With the attendance of Vice President and members of the Board of Directors of the National Committee for Supporting Education and the Education Support Association, Mr. Abdulwahab AlWazzan, and the members Dr. Jaafar AlEryan, Mr. Abdulaziz AlJarAllah, and the Head of the Committee Salman AlShatti.
Prof. Hussein AlAnsari thanked Mr. Ali M. AlGanem, for the generous donation to finance the Kuwait University Performance Monitoring System. Submitted under the protocol of cooperation signed between the university and the National Committee for the Support of Education and the Endowment of Education, stressing that this generous initiative of the Committee is a good example of what the people of Kuwait are, since the beginning of the emergence of education in the State, praising the national role of the Commission in supporting educational projects in various fields.
The University has submitted a number of developmental projects to finance it through the National Committee for the Support of Education, which has agreed to finance a number of projects that serve the educational process. Mr. Ali AlGanem was one of the first initiators to support this project, the first of its kind in the country in the presentation of indicators and performance of Kuwait University in a timely manner reflects the current status of the University in all fields, which is scheduled to be launched in beginning of the next academic year.
Mr. AlGanem stressed on the importance of education in all its stages in the development of countries. The committee was formed by a group of Kuwaitis public figures in the community for nearly 20 years to support education in the country, With the Ministry of Education and Kuwait University.
Noting that the National Committee for the Support of Education and the Endowment of Education will spare no effort in providing the required support to Kuwait University for any future development projects that enhance the role of the university in society and provide an attractive educational environment in keeping with the latest developments and the aspirations of knowledge aspired to.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation of Kuwait University presented a memorial gift to Mr. Ali AlGanem and members of the National Committee for Education Support in appreciation of the Kuwaiti University family for the voluntary efforts of the members of the Committee to support education in general and the university in particular and their efforts and coordination with the University over the past year.
