Universities play an important and vital role in moving the wheel of development. The research and development carried out by universities and higher education institutions plays an essential role in the research and development system in any country that seeks to progress. In this regard, Kuwait University has paid great attention to scientific research, and created the appropriate scientific environment for faculty members, supporting academic members, and students to provide research and studies that enrich science and knowledge and serve the community in various fields.
The Research Sector is responsible to promote scientific research in Kuwait University, supports and develops the research support system, and determines the laws and procedures of research grants. It encourages and supports the research of faculty members in different faculties, basic, applied or humanitarian. Providing the necessary support and providing an environment conducive to the follow-up and completion of projects.
The Research Sector organized the event of the Scientific Poster for the academic colleges 2017/2018 on Wednesday 7th March 2018 with the participation of five colleges this year, where 90 scientific posters were presented reflecting the diversity of topics and research areas addressed by researchers of humanities in the current period.
On Wednesday, 14th March 2018, the Research Sector organized a Scientific Poster day for scientific colleges with the participation of five scientific colleges and the participation of researchers from the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research who presented their research achievements with 136 posters, providing a dynamic view of research activity in colleges, an atmosphere of scientific openness and exchange of views and proposals.
