Kuwait University Begins the Comprehensive Executive Plan for Institutional Accreditation
Kuwait University has initiated the first steps in activating the local institutional accreditation system in collaboration with the National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance. The institutional accreditation team at the university conducted a coordinating visit to the National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance on Monday, July 8, 2024. The visit was attended by the university's Vice President for Planning, Prof. Asaad Al-Rashed, and the Acting Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning, Prof. Walid Chakroun, along with the institutional accreditation team from Kuwait University.
During the visit, Kuwait University's institutional accreditation team presented the initial report prepared by the university to fulfill the eligibility phase, followed by the self-assessment phase within the project.
Dr. Jasem Al-Ali, the Director General of the National Bureau for Academic Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance and his team commended the quality of work and the accuracy of the data. He expressed gratitude for the university's swift response, noting that this visit marks a historic step in emphasizing Kuwait University's commitment to enhancing quality standards and good governance in various procedures and operations.
It is worth mentioning that Kuwait University's Institutional Accreditation Project is one of the government-approved projects for the university.
