A Healthy City - Sabah AlSalim University City
A healthy city is a clean urban location with healthy residents and good cultural services. It provides a safe environment in which people can live in comfort, while retaining their cultural ties, beliefs, traditions, and lifestyles. It is a title given to cities that meet conditions set by the World Health Organization to make health a top priority.

In addition to providing many sustainable health options for students, academic and administrative staff, and enhancing communication and cooperation between them in order for everyone to enjoy the highest levels of health, quality of life, happiness, and well-being.

Kuwait Park
The area of Kuwait Park is about 86,000 square meters, located on the southeastern side of the university campus, opposite the male and female students’ housing buildings. It is planted with various trees such as palm trees, Washingtonian trees, and eucalyptus, and is interspersed with pedestrian paths, in addition to 10 designated rest areas surrounded by flowering trees. A special path extends around the park for those who enjoy cycling or running.

The Oasis
As for the oasis area in Sabah Al-Salem University City, it consists of gardens containing aesthetic trees, green spaces, water basins, and fountains. It is located in the area separating the northern and southern college buildings. Due to the oasis seating areas and walking paths, it is suitable for those who love the natural outdoors and planted areas. The area of the oasis is approximately 126,000 square meters, with an approximate length of 1,675 meters. It also contains 7 corridors connecting the northern and southern campuses covered with natural marble stone. The oasis areas are interspersed with different terrains, such as the hilly elevation in the middle, which is a small plateau planted with trees and types of ground cover shrubs. The water oasis is decorated with 94 water formations, including 19 water walls in which water flows over a black granite stone with a curvy surface like a waterfall, in addition to numerous ponds and water basins surrounded by stone formations and seating areas. The oasis also includes two clubs for faculty members.

Roman Theater
The Roman Theater represents a historical cultural element that symbolizes global civilization. It was chosen to embody the fusion between Arab civilization represented by the oasis on one hand and global civilization on the other. It is also a cultural gathering point for students and professors, and an outlet for organizing student meetings, seminars, and student performances in an open atmosphere outside the closed halls. The Roman Theater is located to the far right of the oasis area and spanning over 2,161 square meters. It is an open seating area that can accommodate about 1,300 spectators. It is divided into two identical halves, with a seating area of approximately 960 square meters for each area, accommodating an estimate 650 spectators. As for the theater, it is located in the middle covering an area of 192 square meters, in addition to the service and technical control area attached to it. The Roman theater is characterized by traditional oval-shaped stone terraces that intersect with green grass, surrounded by various plants and trees on both sides. In the center is the theater with its distinctive moveable wooden background to allow a larger display area when needed.

South Garden
The southern garden is located in the middle of the southern parking area of the main campus, opposite the sports and college buildings. It contains pedestrian paths from all sides. The southern garden is divided into three parts (8,321 square meters, 14,641 square meters, and 24,310 square meters), and water lakes that extend along the length of the garden. In its three parts, and axially from north to south, it is flanked by two rows of palm trees. The streets meet waterfalls, and the water lakes are surrounded by wide green areas interspersed with pedestrian paths and places designated for seating, in addition to the presence of five wooden kiosks to serve park visitors.

The North Garden represents the official and main entrance to the campus in Sabah Al Salem University City, located in the middle of administrative buildings, representing a movement link between those buildings. It is also an outlet for employees and visitors with its water elements, green surfaces, and shaded places. Its garden design depends on the continuous and axial water element along the length of the garden from south to north. It represents a mirror that reflects the beautiful and distinctive trees and plants around. The total area of the northern garden is approximately 57,492 square meters, and is divided into two parts, the first of which is the southern part of the garden, located directly opposite the conference hall. It consists of lakes along the length of the garden and is topped by 4 stone bridges to connect the pedestrian paths on both sides of the garden. It also has shaded areas distributed on both sides.
