Assistant Professor

Dr. Ayedh Almutairi is a faculty member of the Industrial and Management Systems Engineering Department at Kuwait University. He is a Fellow of the Center for Risk Management of Engineering Systems at the University of Virginia. His research interests include risk assessment and risk management, with application to advanced mobile grid services and network of chargers of fleet electric vehicles, and operations and strategic priorities of maritime container ports. He received a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia, M.S. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering at Kuwait University.
