Biography: 

SA’ED ABED: received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan in 1994 and 1996, respectively. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Canada. He has previously worked at Hashemite University, Jordan, as an Assistant Professor from 2008-2014. Currently, Dr. Abed is an Associate professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Kuwait University. His research interests include VLSI Design Automation, Formal Methods and Verifications, Hardware Security, AI Applications and Image Processing. Dr. Abed also served as a reviewer for various international conferences and journals. He published over 135 papers in reputable journals and conferences.

Career Objective: 

Working in a leading academic institution where I can educate, inspire, and motivate the new generation to learn through effective instruction and teaching media. In addition, I aim to find interesting academic research opportunities with specific application to areas in which my contributions will make a difference to the quality of science and technology.
