Final year dental students from College of Dentistry, Kuwait University visited the Kuwait
Society for the Handicapped, as part of their Dental Public Health community field trip.
The students performed oral examination of all the resident patients at the center. In
addition, the students provided oral hygiene instructions and demonstrated brushing and
flossing technique to around 100 children with special needs during the visit.
This visit was organized by Dr Jagan Kumar Baskaradoss and Dr Saad Bin Qasem from
College of Dentistry and was supported by Dr Fatima AlSarraf, Consultant, Special Care Unit
at Adan Specialty Dental Center, Ministry of Health, Kuwait. Ms Hanaa Baghdady,
Community Resource Manager at the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped, coordinated the
visit.
