In a new student achievement that reflects the excellence of Kuwait University's outputs, several university students won prestigious awards during their participation in the Student Projects Exhibition held alongside the Higher Education Summit in the Era of Innovation. The event took place at Abdullah Al-Salem University from April 16 to 17, 2025, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The exhibition aims to promote a spirit of innovation and creativity among students of higher education institutions by offering them the opportunity to showcase their innovative projects in front of a distinguished group of academics, experts, and entrepreneurs from inside and outside Kuwait. This contributes to knowledge exchange and the development of both practical and academic skills.
Kuwait University's team was awarded first place for their project titled “Cash”, earning a cash prize of 2,000 Kuwaiti Dinars. The team included the students: Ali Al-Arbash, Saud Al-Zamel, Abdullah Al-Shaher, Abdulaziz Al-Rubaie, and Abdulwahab Al-Fares.
Another project titled “Halali”, presented by Kuwait University students, received a recognition award from Zain for its creativity and innovation. This team included the students: Ritaj Ali Al-Hayyan, Alaa Faisal Al-Somali, Hujair Mubarak Al-Rashidi, and Wajd Faisal Al-Udhailah.
This accomplishment reflects Kuwait University's dedication to supporting its students and providing an educational environment that fosters their innovative practical abilities — in line with the demands of the modern era and the job market.
