Under the patronage of Acting Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Eisa Muhammad Al-Balhan, the Department of Educational Psychology hosted former Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Saud Hilal Al-Harbi, in a discussion panel supervised by Dr. Nasser Najaf Hassan entitled “Education Documents in the State of Kuwait”, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the College of Education Theater in Sabah Al-Salem University City.
During the session, Dr. Saud Al-Harbi discussed five basic documents on education in the State of Kuwait, emphasizing the importance of what was included in them, and how it can be used in our present time by following the methodology and foundations on which education specialists relied at that time. He also emphasized the need to refer to these documents when evaluating the education system instead of starting from scratch.
The discussion session concluded with Acting Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Eisa Al-Balhan, as he mentioned the recommendations of the United Nations Summit on Transforming Education 2022. He stressed the importance of including concepts related to technology, and taking into account empowering students and future teachers with these concepts when formulating policies in the future
