Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) organized the “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security” event in cooperation with the College of Science at Kuwait University as part of the Science Month activities held by the Foundation, with the participation of many institutions, entities and colleges of Kuwait University concerned with artificial intelligence, and several companies specialized in the field of cybersecurity.
During the exhibition, many scientific and cultural workshops and lectures were presented with the aim to raise the skills of students and participants in the field of cybersecurity, and to learn about the latest technologies and technological applications related to managing ways to confront advanced cyber-attacks and their importance in providing protection for data, networks and systems from cyber-attacks and cyber threats, and managing cyber risks.
In conclusion, Acting Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Mohammed Hussein Bin Sabt, honored participants in the scientific exhibition. He stated in his speech during the honoring ceremony that the event aims to highlight the role of the Fourth Industrial Revolution technology taking place in the world, which is concerned with computer science, its importance and its connection to other fields of science, and to show the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transformation and their impact on society and how to benefit from this technology, in addition to presenting cybersecurity technologies and protection methods for devices and networks.
