Center for Educational Development Hosts "E-Assessment Forum – Advantages and Challenges"

Under the patronage of Prof. Eisa Al-Balhan, Acting Dean of the College of Education, the Center for Educational Development organized the “E-Assessment Forum – Advantages and Challenges” on Wednesday, February 19, 2024, at the College of Education Theater at Kuwait University. The forum aligned with the vision of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and targeted teachers, students, and faculty members, with the aim of sharing effective strategies and design methods for various forms of electronic assessment. It also highlighted the importance of transitioning to digital and blended testing to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of test administration.

The accompanying exhibition featured dedicated booths showcasing the latest digital applications, while participating companies presented innovative educational technologies. The forum also highlighted digital solutions that support e-learning and digital assessments.
The event served as a valuable opportunity for academics, developers, and those interested in educational technology to connect, opening the door to adopting modern tools that meet the needs of contemporary education. It also addressed challenges through the adoption of digital assessment technology at Kuwait University, aiming to improve educational quality and the experience of both students and faculty.
