Kuwait University, represented by the Medical Sciences Center, received a delegation from the University of Otago, New Zealand, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two universities in the academic and research fields and exchange of various expertise, in the presence of representatives of the Medical Sciences Center, namely, Acting Vice President for Medical Sciences, Prof. Noura Al-Suwaih, Acting Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Maitham Khajah, Acting Dean of the College of Public Health, Dr. Alia Al-Mousa, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Hiba Al-Husseini, Vice Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Mai Khalaf, and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Allied Health Sciences, Dr. Fahad Al-Manea.
The University of Otago, New Zealand, was represented by Medical Sciences Advisor, Prof. Megan Gibbons, and Financial Director, Ms. Victoria McKenzie.
On the sidelines of the visit, it was agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two universities to establish means of cooperation and exchange of various academic experiences, in order to support prospects for scientific cooperation.
