Acting President of Kuwait University Receives His Excellency the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman

Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed, received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Kuwait, Dr. Saleh bin Amer Al-Kharousi, on Monday, November 18, 2024, in his office in Sabah Al-Salem University City. This visit came with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations between Kuwait University and the prestigious universities of the Sultanate of Oman.
The two sides discussed the importance of expanding the horizons of future scientific and cultural cooperation, in addition to discussing aspects of student exchange between the two parties with the aim of exchanging cultures, learning about the latest scientific and academic developments, and increasing efforts towards their enhancement and development.
In this regard, Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed, welcomed His Excellency the Omani Ambassador, Dr. Saleh bin Amer Al-Kharousi, expressing his sincere congratulations on the fifty-fourth anniversary of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman. He also expressed his great pride in the strong bonds of fraternal and historical relations that unite the State of Kuwait and Sultanate of Oman.
Prof. Al-Saeed emphasized Kuwait University’s keenness to expand the horizons of scientific and cultural cooperation between all countries of the world within the framework of student exchange and joint programs between universities regarding receiving students to study at Kuwait University, and to learn about the latest academic developments and the most important research and scientific developments.
For his part, the Omani Ambassador expressed his immense joy with the current academic and cultural cooperation with Kuwait University, as well as his desire to increase scientific exchange between them to advance the academic and research aspects.
