Office of the Vice Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training Hosts Closing Ceremony for the Natural Gas Manufacturing Training Program

Under the patronage and in the presence of the Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Prof. Khaled Al-Hazzaa, the Office of Vice Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training held the closing ceremony of the Natural Gas Manufacturing Training Program. The event was also attended by Vice President for Planning at Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Omair; Acting Vice Dean for Consultation and Training, Dr. Mabkhout Al-Dosari; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ajmi; Director of the Engineering Training and Alumni Center, Dr. Essam Al-Ruqbah; Ms. Amina Rajab, Deputy CEO for Gas and Environment; and Mr. Qusai Al-Amir, Deputy CEO for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with several faculty members from the College of Engineering and Petroleum and senior leaders from Kuwait Oil Company.
At the start of the event, Prof. Al-Hazzaa welcomed the attendees to the new building of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, emphasizing that the oil sector is a strategic partner of Kuwait University and expressing the hope for continued and enhanced cooperation in the future.
In his speech, Dr. Mabkhout Al-Dosari stated that the training program is a comprehensive initiative designed to equip professionals in the gas sector from various oil companies with essential knowledge and practical applications in gas manufacturing. He added that participants were evaluated through tests and case studies directly related to their work environments.
For his part, Mr. Hamad Al-Zuweir, Director of Gas Operations Group, expressed his gratitude to the College of Engineering and Petroleum for the generous invitation and limitless cooperation. He also conveyed the oil sector’s desire to organize more such programs in the future, extending his thanks to Dr. Mabkhout Al-Dosari, Ms. Sheikha Al-Eisa, and everyone involved in the program’s organization.
The ceremony concluded with a presentation of scientific posters by six participating teams, followed by the distribution of certificates of appreciation. At the end of the program, attendees were given a tour of the new building and laboratories of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, along with a detailed overview of the facilities and services available to its visitors.
