• Approval of the secondment of academic staff members on full secondment to the Ministry of Higher Education and other official bodies.
Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed, chaired the (06/2024) meeting of the University Council on Tuesday, December 22, 2024, which was held in the University Council’s meeting hall at Sabah Al-Salem University City, in the presence of the Council members.
At the outset, Acting President of Kuwait University welcomed the attendees to the meeting, which was convened to discuss several items listed on the agenda.
The University Council approved the minutes of the (05/2024) meeting, held on November 26, 2024.
In a statement following the meeting, Acting Secretary-General and official spokesperson for Kuwait University, Prof. Mishari Al-Aifan, stated that the University Council approved the proposal from several colleges to renew the secondment of the following academic staff members on full secondment to the Ministry of Higher Education and other official bodies for a one-year term, starting from the specified date next to each name, subject to approval by the respective department and college:
