The Academic Guidance Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs organized community tours to introduce high school students to the colleges and facilities of Kuwait University, and to educate them about the available academic specializations and programs, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. 

During the tour, the academic guidance team reviewed the various scientific and humanities specializations in the university's colleges and the mechanism for joining them. The most prominent services provided by the Deanship were also highlighted, such as providing opportunities for students with cultural, artistic, and athletic talents to participate in activities and invest their time, in addition to introducing rare specializations, excellence rewards, student employment, social rewards, and external trips organized for outstanding students. 

The academic guidance team answered students' inquiries related to the college admission process, enhancing their understanding of the available specializations and the importance of choosing the appropriate specialization. 

The tour included a field visit to the Colleges of Science, and Engineering and Petroleum, where the Guidance and Counseling Office and the Academic Advising Department provided comprehensive information about the majors available in the two colleges, in addition to exploring the various university facilities such as the theater, laboratories, and classrooms, highlighting the advanced educational environment provided by Kuwait University. 

This initiative aims to enhance the awareness of students who are about to enter university and help them make informed academic decisions that match their ambitions.
