The College of Architecture Concludes its Participation in the Fifth Edition of "Mirzam" Exhibition

The College of Architecture at Kuwait University concluded its participation in the fifth edition of "Mirzam" exhibition for furniture, finishing and design, which was held from December 9 to 14 at Kuwait International Fair Ground in Mishref. 
Acting Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Al-Momen, explained that this participation is one of the ways to support the College of Architecture and encourage its students by taking part in external events to prove their presence in the community, especially those related to creativity and innovation. He also expressed his happiness and pride in the participation of the college students in this exhibition, which is considered an important platform for students to connect with future employers, whether local or international. 
Dr. Al-Momen further elaborated that the College of Architecture, as a representative of Kuwait University, has been keen to participate in this exhibition since its first edition to motivate students on one hand, and to connect with consulting and architectural offices and companies that are looking forward to the educational outcomes of the college on the other hand. 
Regarding the content and nature of the participation, Dr. Al-Momen explained that the College of Architecture's pavilion included student architectural projects, starting from urban planning and designing the site surrounding the building, ending with the design of small rooms and the type of materials used. 
For her part, Vice President of the Department of Visual and Interior Design, Dr. Reem Dashti said that the college is keen on participating annually in "Mirzam" exhibition, through which the College of Architecture confirms its keenness to link highly qualified educational outcomes with the needs of the local and global market, indicating that the College of Architecture's pavilion showcased innovative and sustainable projects in various fields of architecture, which was reflected by the fact that visits to the pavilion were not only at the local level, but also at the Gulf and regional levels.
Dr. Al-Momen and Dr. Dashti concluded their speech with sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the College of Architecture's participation, including influential supporters such as Kuwait University, the exhibition management, local designers, faculty members and students for their good representation of the College of Architecture and Kuwait University in a bright image.
