At the beginning of the event, the Acting Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and sponsor of the ceremony, Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Mekhyal, delivered a speech in which he said: “I am pleased to meet with you today at the 6th Scientific Forum for Graduate Students in Educational Administration and Planning from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Universities. This event is organized by the Master’s Program in Educational Administration and Planning, and it is a day filled with research, enrichment, and valuable contributions. It is my honor to convey the participation of Prof. Mishari Al-Aifan and Dr. Mohammed Al-Sammawi in sponsoring this scientific forum, as part of the College of Graduate Studies' support for scientific research and the advancement of innovation, especially as this forum is full of bright minds and rich experiences from professors who have graduated from prestigious universities, and from their graduate students, who will present exciting introductions and discussions on topics such as managing educational institutions, developing educational leadership, and much more.”
Prof. Al-Mekhyal emphasized that such forums serve as an important platform for exchanging experiences and research in the fields of administration and educational guidance. He further noted that this forum is an opportunity to deepen knowledge and understanding, explaining that excellence and creativity in education make it both a pleasure and a way of life. “The pleasure of life lies in dedicating oneself to serving science and education, seeing the impact of that in the advancement of society, which, in turn, reflects on the children of our nation and its elevation among the nations. The rise of nations comes through knowledge,” he said. He also expressed his hope for more events that help teachers develop their teaching methods and enrich the educational process in line with the needs of educators so they can deliver knowledge to learners in a way that suits the realities of the contemporary world.
At the conclusion of his speech, Prof. Al-Mekhyal extended his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing the forum and to Prof. Muzna Saad Al-Azmi, the program director, and her colleagues for their sincere efforts in managing the program and organizing the event.
