On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the College of Engineering and Petroleum at Kuwait University welcomed a delegation from Tongji University in China to explore opportunities for mutual collaboration and expertise exchange. The discussions focused on potential scientific cooperation between China and Kuwait in the field of urban regeneration powered by artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on developing smart and sustainable cities through innovative technologies. The delegation was received by Prof. Mohammad Al-Mulla, Acting Vice President for Academic Support Services, Prof. Khaled Al-Haza’a, Acting Dean of the College, along with the Vice Deans Dr. Mabkhout Al-Dosari, Dr. Nawaf Al-Juwaihel, and Dr. Abdullah Al-Ajmi, as well as the department heads of the college.
