The College of Graduate Studies at Kuwait University hosted visiting expert Dr. Pieter Doevendans from Utrecht University Netherlands in the presence of Acting Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Prof. Ahmed Al-Makhial, Acting Vice Dean for Planning and Development, Dr. Mohammad Al-Samawi, the Head of the Medical Department, Prof. Hiba Al-Husseini, and Prof. Abdul Salam Muwaihat. 
The visit aimed to evaluate the Physiology program for the Master's and PhD degrees, as the programs are evaluated periodically every five years in order to develop the programs of the College of Graduate Studies and ensure that they keep pace with all developments and additions in various scientific fields. 
In turn, the visiting expert praised the efforts made by the College of Medicine, commending their great interest in their scientific programs and the keenness of faculty members to provide high-quality scientific content. 
He touched on some observations and added a set of suggestions that serve the program and increase students' interest in it. 
He also expressed his thanks for the hospitality and warm welcome, wishing Kuwait University and the College of Medicine further prosperity and development.
