Kuwait University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute

Kuwait University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Kuwaiti Diplomatic Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of Kuwait University President, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem; His Excellency Ambassador Nasser Subaih Al-Subaih, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Institute; Prof. Bader Ahmad Al-Jasser Al-Rajhi, Acting Secretary General of Kuwait University; Prof. Mohammed Al-Mulla, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs; Diplomatic Attaché Mr. Falah Al-Falah; and Ms. Anoud Al-Rashidi, Head of Public Relations and Media.
The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between both institutions in areas related to education methods, research, and the development of joint basic and specialized training programs for diplomats to advance their diplomatic skills.
On this occasion, Prof. Dina Al-Mailem welcomed the institute as a strategic partner in Kuwait University’s journey of research and development in the field of diplomatic and academic collaboration. She emphasized the potential of this partnership to enrich both parties' resources, enabling mutual exchange of expertise, ultimately enhancing the quality of academic and professional outcomes and elevating Kuwait’s standing regionally and globally.
Prof. Al-Mailem praised the institute’s commitment to building strong ties with the university and highlighted its valuable contributions to political, diplomatic, and cultural spheres. She noted that this MoU is designed to open ongoing avenues for cooperation, especially in diplomatic training, knowledge exchange, and joint program implementation, paving the way for a constructive and sustainable response to global challenges—in line with Kuwait’s national development goals and the Vision 2035 strategy.
In turn, His Excellency Ambassador Nasser Al-Subaih, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Institute, stated that the collaboration is aimed at strengthening training, research, and knowledge exchange, leveraging the diversity and caliber of Kuwait University’s academic community. He expressed pride in partnering with such a prestigious academic institution and looked forward to a fruitful collaboration that contributes to developing talent across both sectors, in service of Kuwait’s national aspirations.
