The “As'ed Tasa'ad for Orphans” initiative aims to provide comprehensive care for orphans—from nurturing and education, to supporting their health and preparing them psychologically, spiritually, morally, and physically for the future. It seeks to strengthen both their minds and spirits while offering them ideal services. The initiative also aims to raise public awareness of society’s role toward orphans, support their integration, protect them from negative influences and risky behaviors, and instill Islamic values in their lives.
The event featured a variety of entertaining and educational activities, including light painting, a special song dedicated to orphans, and the honoring of participating entities.
His Excellency the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, accompanied by event partners, toured the exhibition booths, met with the orphans, and shared in their joy on this meaningful and compassionate occasion.
Kuwait University’s participation underscores its active role in promoting social responsibility, fostering a culture of volunteerism among students, and supporting humanitarian initiatives that serve the most vulnerable groups in society—particularly orphans—by providing them with a nurturing environment and promoting their inclusion within the community.
